Palo Alto Networks acquires the AI Agent Platform Console

Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW) announced Tuesday that it has acquired Console, a native AI platform designed to help companies build agent workflows and automate operational tasks using natural language.

the cybersecurity giant said console will deepen the agent capabilities of its Cortex platform, enabling security teams to examine signals, prioritize work and automatically take action across enterprise environments.

Console’s technology allows users to describe an operational goal in natural language, with AI agents then performing the analysis and actions necessary to achieve that goal. According to Palo Alto Networks, this could help companies resolve alerts, issues and queries at machine speed.

“By integrating Console with Palo Alto Networks, our customers can communicate directly with data and create natural language agent workflows that help automatically report and resolve issues,” said CEO Nikesh Arora.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Acquisition announcement came parallel to Palo Alto Networks’ financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026.
