Sony has confirmed the next bundle of games PlayStation Plus game catalog in Augustand there are two particularly great additions. Helldivers 2 available for the first time through the service, while the excellent Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will join later this month.
The two games offer very different experiences, but both are among the most notable releases of recent years.
August is the title of two very different games

Helldivers 2 It launched in February 2024 and quickly became one of the biggest multiplayer hits of the year. More than two years later, it still has a healthy player base. PlayStation doesn’t release the number of active players, but SteamDB shows nearly 100,000 PC-only players at the time of writing.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance IImeanwhile, it’s almost the opposite. Its 2018 sequel was critically acclaimed Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven, single-player, open-world RPG with heavy survival and simulation elements. Our review called it a “magnificent medieval masterpiece,” praising its story, freedom of choice, combat, and vast medieval world.
Lots of games to come
Hell is us is another notable addition that offers a darker action-adventure with intense melee, exploration, and environmental exploration. Vampire survivorswhich became an explosive indie hit in 2022, is one of the easiest games on this list to waste hours on. It has simple controls, offers continuous progression, and a basic 30-minute survival run can always turn into full-screen mayhem.

The rest of the August game catalog isn’t too shabby either. Sony also adds Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodusand Dying Light 2. PlayStation Plus Premium members also get it Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney Atlantis: The Lost Empire through the classic catalog.
All in all, it’s an excellent month for PlayStation Plus. Helldivers 2 will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra members worldwide from August 12, while the rest of the lineup will arrive on August 18, unless otherwise noted by Sony.
