Apple announced on Wednesday that its next launch event will be held on September 9, with the tagline “Surprise and Shine”.
The event is expected to be high-profile, as Apple is rumored to launch the long-awaited foldable iPhone. It will also be the first Apple event with John Ternus as CEO. Ternus is set to take over the reins of the tech giant from Tim Cook on September 1.
Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but both models are rumored to feature major upgrades rather than redesigns. Reports indicate that the company will not announce the standard iPhone 18 Until next year.
The tech giant is also expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra, alongside new smart home devices.
In addition to new hardware, the company may announce the release date of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, and other upcoming software updates.
The event will be held at the Apple Park Campus in Cupertino, California at 10 am PT.
