to add Android Authority On Google:
TL; DR
- Find Hub’s new “Remembered” tab is rolling out.
- A new tab allows you to record the location of any object.
- The update doesn’t seem to be widely available yet.
Google recently released Android Drop in September, introducing several new features to the platform. Although it wasn’t available at the time, one of the new features announced is a new option in the Find Hub app to help you remember the location of items that can’t be tracked digitally. The tech giant has said that the feature will soon come to devices running Android 16 or later. Looks like the release date has arrived.
People here 9-5 Google Please let us know that Find Hub’s new “Remembered” tab is here. It joins Devices and People as the third available option in the bottom bar. It is marked with a bookmark icon with a Gemini spark in the upper right corner.
As Gemini Spark suggests, you can use Google AI to make a note of any object’s location, even if it’s not a connected device. There’s also a pop-up action button (FAB) where you’ll find the ‘Ask Twins’ shortcut. Alternatively, you can manually add objects to the Remembered tab.
If you decide to go manual, it starts by asking you to give the element a “Name” and “Storage Location”. After completing these steps, you can add additional details. For example, you can add a picture, location details, and notes.
According to the outlet, the update appeared in Find Hub version 3.1.732-02. While the update is available through the Google Play Store, it doesn’t appear that the feature is widely available yet.
