While the actual event created by Google 2026 doesn’t happen for another eight hours, Google has detailed the Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Tag.
Here’s a summary of everything announced at Made by Google 2026. Each section has links to our full hands-on with new hardware and software features, with more posts to come in the next several hours.
Pixel 11
The Pixel 11 has an all-glass camera band that’s 40% thinner than the last model and noticeably slimmed down. Google advertises how the “practice” plateau disappears when you use the official case.
There’s a larger 48MP sensor that offers 56% more light sensitivity and a slightly wider FOV. Tensor G6 unlocks 30x SuperRes Zoom with 5x telephoto.
The chip is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which is a new base. This year’s flagship phone supports 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging (up from 15W) that’s up to 25% faster but claims 30+ hours of battery life unchanged.
The Pixel 11 is available in Frost, Obsidian, Hibiscus, and Pistachio for $899.

Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL
The edge-to-edge camera bar on the Pro series features what Google calls “HiLight.” Replacing the temperature sensor after three generations is a ring of ambient LEDs built around the flash. It aims to help you stay connected when the Pixel 11 Pro crashes. For example, it provides visual feedback that Gemini hears you with different patterns for listening, thinking, and responding, just like Google Home speakers. You can also have a custom color pulse when your favorite contacts call (Phone by Google and WhatsApp), with future updates will add more capabilities such as text notifications. You activate HiLight and set one of five colors from the person’s Google Contacts page.
Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL offer 50MP wide and 48MP telephoto sensors with larger image sensors and 30% more light sensitivity. This allows for Portrait mode at 5x, and 120x Pro Zoom thanks to the Tensor G6 and Google’s latest photography modes. The newly designed chip and software also make Instant Night Sight possible up to 4.5 times faster.
The Super Actua display has a maximum brightness of 3,600 nits and is twice as scratch resistant thanks to the new coating.
The Tensor G6 is paired with 12 GB of RAM in the 256 GB model. In recognition of the 4 GB reduction, Google credits software and silicon optimizations for faster and smoother performance than last year’s Pro devices. That said, you can upgrade to 16 GB by getting a 512 GB or 1 TB model.
On the 11 Pro XL, wired charging is up to 75% faster in about 30 minutes, while wireless charging is 29% faster with 25W Qi2.2.
The phone is offered in Canyon, Fog, Olive and Matt Obsidian for the first time, with Google drawing inspiration from the natural world. The 6.3-inch Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, while the 6.8-inch Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at $1,299. On Pro phones, Google now offers access to AI Pro for only six months.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is almost 10% lighter (258 vs. 239 g) and 0.7 mm thinner than last year’s model. It can be folded is 3 times more durable thanks to the new fiberglass back cover on the side that is “almost impossible to break.” The new hinge design protects the internal display from accidental drops.
The 6.5-inch external display is now Super Actua (20% brighter) and is protected by a ceramic glass cover. The internal Super Actua Flex display (now rated at 3,600 nits) has slimmer bezels and thicker ultra-thin glass with a double-layer anti-impact film for enhanced repulsion.
The new 48MP wide-angle camera sensor improves light sensitivity by 56%, while the telephoto camera supports 30x Super Zoom. You will also find HiLight on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Tensor G6 is paired with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The battery has dropped from 5,015 to 4,750 mAh, but still lasts 24+ hours of use with 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging.
Live transcription in Gboard supports American Sign Language. Sign-to-Text lets you “sign in to the front-facing camera while viewers see the transcript on an external display.” This is joined by Android 17’s Bubble Bar in the lower right corner and 2 Made You Look animations in the camera app.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold sees a $100 price increase to $1,899 but offers 16 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage.

Tensor G6
The new Gemini Nano 4 model takes advantage of TPU with 50% more computing power and 2x memory bandwidth. This means that AI tasks on the device will be up to 3.5 times faster, while using up to 3.5 times less energy.
Meanwhile, the CPU provides 15% faster app loading and 25% faster web browsing.
An upgraded ISP (image signal processor) unlocks camera features such as extended zoom range and low-light enhancement. A new custom accelerator is designed to capture and display portrait videos for 4K Bokeh video.
There is a new Titan M3 security chip that will help prevent future quantum computing threats.
New features of Pixel camera + video
While most of the camera apps look the same, Google has made some changes to accommodate the new features. For example, Quick Access controls expand beyond white balance, exposure and shadows with new sliders for viewfinder, focus, shutter speed and ISO. The new interface lets you select any app on the left and right edges of the viewport after a single tap.
Magic Capture is similar to Google Clips where you just start a session and Google will select the best HDR+ photos and videos. Accessed from a new tab next to Camera and Video Mode, it analyzes around 500 frames to find the perfect shot, with optional cropping, straightening, blurring, and other lighting adjustments. The purpose is for you to just point and stay in the moment.
Camera Looks helps you set the default beauty when taking photos. Google has made adjustments to its camera pipeline such as “combining fewer frames than usual for a minimally processed feel” and “rewriting the color search table at the sensor level to mimic the chemistry of classic films.” The Pixel 11 offers these optional HDR options:
- Nature: Relaxing details
- Shadow: A deeper contrast
- Vanilla: Warmer, lighter with golden hues
Then there are Stylistic Looks like Digi, Black Tie, Minimal, Editorial, Classic, and Velvet, with users being able to edit more.
The device’s video processing benefits from improved sharpness, noise, and detail, while Pro Stable Video on the Pixel 11 Pro enables shaky, brightly lit images. The new Creators Pack adds a number of tools to the Camera app:
- Teleprompter: Scroll down as you talk, while adjusting the pace and pausing to match the delivery.
- Project folder: save clips in a specific location.
- Audio Visualizer: For checking the microphone in the camera viewport.
- Storyboard: To cut and rearrange clips powered by Google Photos.
- Social media network
Gemini Intelligence
Task automation on the Pixel 11 series works across more apps so you can cancel orders and subscriptions. Gemini can also call businesses to complete tasks.
Gboard Rambler goes beyond textual speech by filtering run-on sentences and filler words, like “umm” or “ah.” When active, Rambler takes over Gboard’s suggestion bar with a new wave-like animation. It records your intentions for a clean and concise audio transcription.
Proactive Assist (formerly Magic Cue) provides contextual cues that are now applicable in more situations and with richer interactions. When you tap on these chips, a new bottom plate will slide up. You can see comprehensive flight details with links to living conditions, Google Maps listings, display your calendar at scheduled times, tasks (such as booking a table) and comparison. Gemini Intelligence can also recommend that you save events to the calendar and other details to Google Wallet.
Google is previewing new capabilities that instantly view your location to display loyalty cards at stores and Google Maps listings when you’re at a restaurant.
Live Translate in phone calls is the last year is expanded to podcasts and videos in YouTube and other support apps for real-time dubbing audio thanks to Tensor G6.
New Pixelsnap accessories
The latest color Pixelsnap Cases match the phone, while there is a new Clear Case this year. The Pixelsnap Ring Stand is currently available in Canyon, Olive, and Obsidian.

Pixel tags
Google Pixel Tag is a Find Hub tracker that costs $29 (or $99 4-pack). It’s a tablet with a ‘G’ logo and a removable cell phone battery on the back. This accessory will not be available until November 11th.

Update Pixel Buds Pro 2
We’re getting the new Pixel Buds Pro 2 in Olive. More importantly, there’s a big software update for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Pixel Buds 2a coming in September. New Pro 2 firmware Improved noise cancellation Based on how the buds sit in your ears. Google “will adjust to compensate when small changes in the seal occur.”
At the same time, both Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Pixel Buds 2a will be received Gemini voice control That lets you adjust settings with voice commands like “Hey Google, turn up the bass.”

Pixel 5 watch
The external design of the Pixel Watch 5 is unchanged from last year. Currently, it is powered by Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated with 12% in CPU processing power, and RAM increased from 2 to 3 GB. These upgrades, along with the M55 co-processor, make the device 20% faster. Google has also doubled the storage to 64 GB.
Pixel Watch 5 provides 2x more accurate route tracking and mapping in cities, roads and other challenging environments. Google said it beat the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro.
This year’s health upgrades improve the strength and HIIT workout experience, automatically suggest sleep times, add emergency breathing detection, and allow for blood pressure and insulin resistance trends.
This year, there are two new faces with Weave and Chronograph, as well as a new complication model. You also get a generic UI watch face that looks like an AI wallpaper on your phone.
Gemini Intelligence brings you to the bottom of your watch face for flight details, boarding passes, and transit stops. Face-to-face suggestions can appear in apps like Google Messages as a one-tap action. Offline Gemini command support allows you to control timers and alarms, as well as start workouts.
The Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399 for the 41mm (+$50) and $429 for the 45mm (+$30), with the handset costing $100 more.
