Bluesound has introduced the Pulse Sub, a completely redesigned wireless powered subwoofer that brings deeper bass to your BluOS multi-room system.
Inside the cabinet is a 350-watt amplifier with Smart DSP technology that drives two unique 6.5-inch woofers in an opposing configuration, an arrangement that delivers roughly 2.5 times more power than the previous generation Bluesound subwoofer.

The double-opposed arrangement also eliminates much of the vibration produced by each driver, keeping the cabinet still, while the woofers deliver deep, clean and controlled bass.
Built entirely around the BluOS platform, the Pulse Sub pairs wirelessly with existing Bluesound products via the BluOS Controller app, and setup mirrors the same steps Bluesound already uses to add a second player to your system.
Pairing options include the Pulse Cinema and Pulse Cinema Mini wireless speakers for a more complete home theater setup, or the Powernode streaming amplifier for listeners looking to add deeper, bigger musical bass to their music playback.
Matt Simmonds, VP of Product Development at Bluesound, described the design goal: “Great bass can’t be loud and booming. It has to bring you closer to what you’re watching or listening to without drawing attention to where it’s coming from.”

Simmonds added that the team reimagined the acoustic and industrial design of the Pulse Sub to more than double its performance while keeping the enclosure compact, controllable and easy to use.
Soft contours and tonal woven fabric grilles are paired with a matte satin finish that matches the rest of the Bluesound line, while integrated cable management channels guide wires and keep them out of sight. In addition to wireless pairing, the low line level analog input allows the Pulse Sub to function as a wired active subwoofer for non-BluOS systems.
The Pulse Sub will be available later in 2026 for £849 / €999 via official Bluesound retailers, the Bluesound website and Amazon, with pre-order details to follow.
