Slovenia has entered the EU’s MICA stablecoin register with the electronic money institution Dinaro, as the update added two new CASPs.

Slovenia appears for the first time on the European Union market in the Crypto-Asset Regulation (MiCA) Register of Electronic Money Token (EMT) issuers.

Dinaro, an electronic money institution based in Slovenia under the supervision of the Bank of Slovenia, has joined EMT listing in the latest European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) register update on Wednesday.

According to websiteDinaro provides payment services, including issuing and acquiring cards, and says it holds Mastercard memberships. Its addition marks the first appearance of a Slovenia-based issuer in ESMA’s EMT dataset
