ChatGPT has got a handy shortcut to attach recent photos faster

Users who rely on ChatGPT for quick image searches can now add images to chats faster with new gestures. This is the way.

ChatGPT makes it easier to attach recent photos to chats

While iOS has had Visual Intelligence for almost two years, the feature is still limited to the latest iPhones and not available in all regions.

For users who rely on ChatGPT to search for similar images, attaching an image means tapping the + button, then tapping “Images,” and then selecting an image from their image library.

While this process isn’t exactly difficult, OpenAI made it a little faster this week to add the latest image to the conversation with a handy new gesture.

As noted by OpenAI’s Adam Fry on X, users can now press the + button on the left side of the alert box to display their last four photos.

From there, they can choose one of four images to attach to a conversation, then ask a question or use it as part of their reminder.

The new gesture arrives alongside several other ChatGPT improvements this week, including better recognition of the current time, faster loading and performance for long chats on the web, and clearer UI updates when users are waiting for an Internet connection.
